My experience in the insurance industry has taught me that it is essential that we approach each interaction with the intent to establish a long-term relationship. A lot of people view insurance as just a bill until there is a need for it and they don’t have the protection they need. My duty and obligation is to make every effort to prevent that from happening to anyone my agency deals with.
I grew up in Southfield Michigan which is just outside of Detroit. I moved to AZ in 2005 and after 13 years I finally feel comfortable calling it home now! (other than my sports teams, all Detroit!). Being able to protect families, individuals, and businesses while providing career opportunities to people and helping others in the community as my living is a true blessing that I never take for granted.
I love my wife and being a father! My oldest son is almost 2 and his little brother arrived this past May. My father passed away when I was 6 weeks old so I’ve always envisioned being the father I wished I had and now that is my motivation each day. My full name is Walter Joseph Kennedy III and I named my son the IV. I’ve always felt the need to keep the name going since I never met my father. 4.0 is my nickname for my firstborn and that is what prompted me to name my second agency location 4.0 Insurance.
I have 3 dogs and I try to get them to the park on the weekends when the weather permits it. Summer is tough but on hot days they love the pool! We got one of our Dogs (Hank) from a dog rescue called P.A.W.S Fur The Cause AZ and I’ve sponsored several adoption events but I had to pull back because I have a hard time leaving without a dog! We also adopted our 3rd dog Ace from the Pinal County dog pound the day before he was scheduled to be euthanized. He has been an amazing addition to the family! We are huge dog rescue supporters and if you’re reading this we encourage you to adopt!:)
My older brother Steve recently began a nonprofit called “Elephant Care Unchained”. He spends several months throughout the year traveling to other countries to help improve the wellbeing of elephants. He is incredibly passionate and dedicated to this cause and if you would like to learn more about it you can visit http://www.elephantcareunchained.com/ for more information. He sells awesome hats and t-shirts that help raise money for his efforts and if you mention The Kennedy Agency you will receive 20% off any purchases you make! 🙂
My experience in the insurance industry has been great! Earning people’s trust and establishing a long-lasting relationship with every person I speak with is my goal. Getting to help people understand what they are actually paying for monthly and explaining coverage options that will put them in the best situation possible is key. Most people look at the insurance policy as a bill, I try to explain that it is actually protection against a HUGE bill in the future if you aren’t properly protected. I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. I am a Hoosier at heart with a new-found love of the Arizona heat! What excites me most about my job is my relationship with our clients. I love hearing about their growing family or their new house they just purchased. I really enjoy the phone calls and walk ins from our clients just to chat about life. They make my job worth coming to everyday.
I love spending time with my family. My husband and I are dedicated to making family a number 1 priority and I love it. I have a 10-year-old and a 1 year old and they are the light of my life! When I am not working I’m usually at the baseball field with my son. I love watching his games and practices. I do have a guilty pleasure… I love Netflix! I love to binge watch shows with my family. I am very passionate about pet adoption. I have adopted both of my dogs, Lucy and Zeus. I encourage people to check their local animal shelters before ever buying a dog from a pet store.
I serve as a trusted advisor to all of our clients and prospects to ensure they have the best coverage at the best price. I was born and raised in San Diego, California and moved out to Phoenix to attend school at Grand Canyon University. I graduated in December of 2017 and made the decision to stay in Phoenix because I love it here! One of the most fulfilling aspects of my job is giving people a true understanding of their coverage and how it can impact their life in the event of an unfortunate accident.
My favorite personal activity is spending time with my family and friends! My favorite activity outside of work is spending time at the lake and desert. My one extremely guilty pleasure is my love for Taco Bell and all the delicious unhealthy food they offer. I am passionate about helping out local animal shelters with donations whenever I can to support all the pets that can’t find homes.
I grew up in both Arizona and California. I went to three different schools at the same time that I did my medical assisting at a tech school. I am still doing my college courses for business/nursing at CAC and I did my Casa management at a third party Tech school.
What excites me the most about my job is helping people, as well as learning new things I never knew were important. I think I can contribute my
personality and my need to want to help others.
Something I really enjoy is working out. I use it for many different things, so I like any form of exercise, but I really enjoy sports
or outside gyms.
Guilty pleasure: Frozen yogurt with fruity pebbles on top.
When I’m not at work, you can probably find me working out, outside ( any public area, park outside my home or even running
down the road) or hiking!
I grew up in Denver, Colorado, and relocated to Arizona in 1998.
I started in the insurance and financial planning industry in 2001. What I like the most about my job is helping people prepare for retirement, plan for estate transfers, and helping them protect their families!
Fun fact: I enjoy “playing on 2 wheels” and extreme adventure: mountain biking, dirt bikes, and adventure bikes.
Guilty pleasure: I really love chocolate! Can’t turn it down.
On the weekend, I enjoy adventures with my kids out in the mountains. I also enjoy feeding the homeless at a shelter in Mesa; both of my kids go with me and really enjoy it as well.
My experience in the insurance industry has been exciting! I am able to form long-lasting friendships and able to help people along the way. I grew up in a small town in Indiana. I spent a lot of time in Indiana doing community work for the Indianapolis Zoo and their dolphin exhibit. What excites me most about working with the Kennedy Agency is knowing I can make a difference in someone’s life. Even as simple as being the shoulder to cry on during a tragic event. I want to make sure that everyone is always properly covered for the worst-case scenarios and know they have someone they can trust to lean on for support and help.
When I’m not in the office, I love spending time with family and being outdoors My husband and I have 2 kids my son, 9 and our daughter, 4. We all love to get outdoors and hike and I could talk all day long about the beautiful places there are to see! Any chance we get we are taking the kids out to adventure. We have collected a number of treasures from our adventures like small pieces of gold and some very cool rocks. I do have one very big guilty pleasure and that is my love for Netflix! If you ever need to know the best shows to watch, I am your person!
I am very passionate about animal welfare and nature preservation. I encourage everyone to visit their local shelter!
I was born in Selma, CA, and grew up in Hanford, CA. Located about 30 miles south of Fresno, CA. I’ve been in the insurance industry for about 8 years. I started as a broker and did that for about 4 years. After that, found a job with Allstate and I’ve been here ever since. What excites me most about my work is using the experience that I’ve gained to build quality policies and relationships with my clients.
A couple of fun things to know about me: I’m a huge fan of running and cooking. Outside of work you can find me hanging out with my fur pals or hiking local trails.
